★ Shining Days — Privacy Policy

Shining Days is a one-photo-a-day picture diary. It is designed so that your diary belongs to you alone.

What we collect

Nothing. Shining Days does not collect any of your data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers of its own.

Where your diary lives

Your photos, Live Photos, words, and place names are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app's private storage. Deleting an entry deletes its photo and video from the app; deleting the app deletes everything the app stored.

Camera and photo library

The camera is used only when you choose Take Photo, to capture the photo you add to your diary. If you allow photo library access, the app reads a picked photo's location and checks — on your device only — whether exactly one photo was taken today so it can fill it in for you automatically. If the photo has location data, its coordinates may be sent to Apple's geocoding service to turn them into a place name (like a city). Your photos and library are never uploaded or collected. This is optional — if you decline, everything else works normally.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

Backups and sharing

Your diary is included in your iPhone's own iCloud or computer backup if you have one; those backups are operated by Apple under your Apple Account, not by us. Anything you share with the share button goes only where you send it.

Children

Shining Days does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the app ever adds an optional feature that changes any of the above (for example, iCloud sync of your diary), this policy will be updated first and the change will be clearly described in the app.
